Very gracious old-style accommodation with superb artwork, antique furnishings and decoration. It was very comfortable, scrupulously clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. The situation was ideal for access to the city, Circular Quay and the Opera House, Botanic Gardens and Art Gallery. The breakfast package was very good, and convenient. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a view over the Botanic Gardens.

From the moment we walked through the automatic opening doors we were greeted with a warm friendly smile, the staff explained everything to us & were able to help us with our enquiries.... 24hr reception service. Superb location, literally a 5 minutes walk to Sydney Harbour, ferry terminals, view the Bridge, the Opera house & vast array of restaurants. We were 2hrs early for check-in, we were allowed to store our luggage at the hotel whilst we went exploring around Sydney Harbour & had lunch, when we arrived back at the hotel, our luggage was already waiting for us within our room. Our room was well appointed, very clean & a great size, the bathroom had a good sized bath, separate shower, 2 sinks & a separate toilet, very clean, plenty of towels etc. Plenty of hanging space, iron & ironing board, coffee & tea facilities etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay & we will certainly return & recommend the Sir Stanford Circular Quay hotel to my family & friends.

The location of this property is outstanding. So close to Circular Quay, the Opera House, the Gallery, the Botanical Gardens. On-site parking is easy. The rooms are very big and comfortable.

What a charming hotel! We arrived a little early to leave our bags and the lovely lady allowed us to fully check in as our room was ready. Quickly dropped our bags into our obviously upgraded room to park the car. Next time we will park first as the parking is just around the corner underneath the hotel so you just punch a ticket and you can have it validated when you check out. So convenient. The location is perfect! Close to Circular Quay station and the Opera House, 2 minute walk and you can see the Harbour Bridge. Bed was super comfortable and toiletries high quality. Breakfast in a charming dining room, great value and selection with scrambled eggs that were perfection I have never found this in a hotel breakfast that I can recall. We usually stay in a different hotel, it will always be this one now. Staff were exceptional. Can't fault our stay. Thankyou so much!

We really appreciated the upgrade to an executive suite. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom area was very good and well stocked with toiletries. Very convenient location - handy to Opera House and harbour.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The bathrooms are large and magnificent with double basins, shower and bath. The staff were very friendly and polite. The Highlander Bar had fabulous cocktails and nice food as well as unique decor.

The hotel's location was great, a few minutes to Circular Quay, ferries, light rail and trains. The hotel had lots of character, the room was spacious and the bathroom amazing. The room was light and bright. Breakfast was included and was a full buffet. Staff were friendly and professional.

Location is ideal if you want easy access to the best of the inner Sydney waterfront: Circular Quay, Opera House, The Rocks, etc. I was also blown away by the proactive helpfulness on the part of staff...from the bellman who helped me with my luggage and nearby cafe ideas, to the front desk person who personally showed me around the main floor. People want to help you, and that was nice. I was put into a suite that blew me away with multiple rooms, great views, and a plaque on the wall that listed the famous people who had previously slept there! THAT was a first - and I resisted the temptation to add my name to the list. :)
